Learn to relax using natural stress relief
Everyday stress is one of the main causes of ill health in our society
and working life today. Learn to relax using natural therapies, such as
aromatherapy,
which can help to relieve mental and physical exhaustion, aiding rejuvenation and well being. In the workplace, air-conditioning,
VDUs, and mental, physical or environmental stress can all undermine good health. Lavender oil,
chamomile, rosemary, eucalyptus, sandalwood, geranium, bergamot, tea tree and all citrus essential oils are just a few that are extremely useful in our modern working environment.
A word of caution...
The essential oils supplied with
Aroma4U's products are
100% pure and natural, but even natural products can have side effects if not used properly, and some degree
of care is needed when handling them. Pure undiluted
essential oils should not (in
general) be used directly on the skin. Do not take essential oils internally. Essential oils should be kept away from children, pets
and the eyes. Essential oils are also very volatile and, therefore flammable - keep them away from naked flames. Aromatherapy products
are never to be used in place of medical treatment. If you are pregnant, epileptic, suffering from high blood pressure or already
taking medication consult your medical practitioner or a qualified aromatherapist.
In many cases stress-related illnesses are caused by our
working conditions, which most of us cannot control. However,
employers are now legally required to take action to minimise
work-related stress
3. If you are currently experiencing or are managing someone who feels they are experiencing ill health as a
result of excess pressure at work, here is a website offering advice:

What the Law says
In 2002 the Court of Appeal found that employers are not liable for causing stress but may be liable for ill health caused by work related stress.
